Professional Association of German Psychologists (BDP) presents updated Course list of psychology

Since 2008, the Professional Association of German Psychologists e.V. (BDP) has been reviewing all psychology trainings offered in Germany. Among other things, the total amount of psychological teaching content and the inclusion of the core subjects are taken into account. In the assessment, the BDP is based on the criteria of the European Certificate in Psychology (EuroPsy), which are established by the European Federation of Psychologists Associations EFPA.

"The growing number of courses offered by private and public universities is making it increasingly difficult for students of psychology to find their way. With our list of trainings we want to facilitate the decision-making for an undergraduate psychology study. In addition, by assessing the criteria of the EuroPsy, we ensure comparability at the European level, " explains BDP President Prof. Dr. med. Michael Krämer.

The recognized study programs form the basis for admission to the Professional Association of German Psychologists e.V. (BDP). An updated study list (in German) is now available for free download:
